Application of molybdenum rod
Molybdenum rod has high melting point, good thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion. At high temperature, it can resist oxidation and has high strength. Molybdenum rod can be used to manufacture electric vacuum devices and electric light source parts, as well as high-temperature heating body, high-temperature structural parts, electrodes, etc.

Classification by material
① Pure molybdenum rod: molybdenum content is greater than 99.95%.
② High temperature molybdenum rod (molybdenum lanthanum alloy rod): it contains 0.4 ~ 1.2% lanthanum, and the molybdenum content is the balance except impurities.
③ TZM molybdenum rod: 0.4 ~ 0.6ti, 0.07 ~ 0.12zr, 0.01 ~ 0.05c.
Classification by surface condition
① Sintered molybdenum rod: silver gray metallic luster on the surface.
② Forged molybdenum rod: there is a layer of oxide on the surface, and the surface is black.
③ Turning molybdenum rod: the surface has metallic luster, flat and rough.
④ Polished molybdenum rod: silver gray metallic luster, smooth surface and small size error.
Surface oxide removal method
1. Molybdenum products are easy to oxidize. When it is necessary to remove heavy oxides, use strong acids (fluoric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc.) for treatment. Please pay attention during operation.
2. For mild oxide, use the cleaning agent with abrasive, wipe it with a soft cloth or sponge, and then wash it with warm water.
3. The cleaned molybdenum products will lose the metallic luster, please pay attention.
Packaging of molybdenum rod
The molybdenum rod shall be separately packed with PE pearl cotton material and placed in a suitable wooden box. The excess space must be filled to prevent vibration and damage to the product during transportation.

③ Used as high temperature heater and high temperature structural parts.
④ It is used as the electrode of furnace in glass and refractory fiber industry. It works in 1300 ℃ glass melt and has a long service life.
⑤ Rare earth is used as electrode in industry.
